Mia Minnis is an illustrator based on Chicago, Illinois.

Her work primarily focuses on fantasy, scifi, and horror, inspired by her love of the depth of feeling evoked by stories in lands not like ours—and the empathy we feel regardless. The hallmark of her illustrations is her mimicry of traditional oil textures to pull out the organic life of traditional paints, as well as her surreal and evocative character work.

Mia received her B.F.A. in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
